After brunch, we took a train to Central. It’s not as cold today, as compared to the past few days. As a matter of fact, I was feeling a little warm under the coat!
I have decided to take some more pictures, so I geared into my tourist skin and follow what other tourists do. I saw many tourists taking photos of this statue, so I followed suit. There were constantly people posing in front of the statue, so I didn’t exactly get to read the ‘story’ behind it. I had to take the photos from a distance.
Then, the interesting part happened. As we were crossing the road, we saw some unusual sightings outside the Citibank. When we took a closer look, did we realize that there were hate banners hung up on the railings, and even some handheld hate posters.
The posters and protesters were gone by the time we finished our small little ‘tour’ around central though.
I forgot to bring my back support corset for this trip, and my back is definitely punishing me for that!! We take small breaks whenever possible.
After some sweet treats in Haagen Daz, we walked around the Lan Kwai Fong, and it kind of reminded me of Lombard street in San Francisco, only that it’s not as steep as the latter. That said, it’s still quite a hell of a walk for me!!!
