So, I have ‘satisfied’ my webhost, by shutting my webstore now. I love my webhost, I really do, I just think that they need to practice more understanding. I am out of the country, for Pete’s sake, so I really can’t work on my site that efficiently.
I am a happier traveler today, since I no longer receive bugging emails from my webhost. Well, let’s say, I am paying a price for some ‘freedom’ and true relaxation, considering that Valentine’s day is just round the corner, I am sure I am losing some sales with the decision to shut down the store till I return. Then again, it will be more silly for me to sit in the hotel to work on my website using primitive editor and waste my trip altogether.
We went to the temple street by foot (we stay in a really well situation hotel, we can practically walk to women’s street in just minutes, and with the cool weather, walking to temple street was a breeze too). It’s very much like our Pasar Malam, so we didn’t buy anything, since we have no need for the stuffs. It’s a nice visit though.
The more interesting thing was the stretched of ‘tents’ of fortune tellers lined up by one street. I contemplated to snap a picture of that, but Mike thought they might not like that, so I dropped the idea. Some of the ‘masters’ must have been really accurate and popular, we saw some people already sitting in queue for their turn to have their fortune told.
(At this point, I am once again waiting for Mike to be ready to head out for the day)
Mike already knew what he wanted for dinner though. Apparently, Jackie (his high school classmate who lives in Hong Kong) brought him to this restaurant when he was here the year before. He loved the noodles, so we had our dinner there too.
I am a very light duty shopper, so our activities are lined up really loosely. I like that though, my back can’t manage long hours of walking, so I like the lightly scheduled itinerary.
Ok.. Mike is out, we can get ready to head out for the day..
